About Prof. Dr. Bekir Atik’s Clinic
Prof. Dr. Bekir Atik is an aesthetic, plastic and reconstructive surgeon in private practice in Maltepe, Istanbul. He graduated from Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in 1993 and completed his plastic surgery specialist training at Gaziantep University (1997–2002). He also holds a hand surgery subspecialty (2006–2011).
He was a founding faculty member and department head in plastic surgery at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University (2002–2011) and at Istanbul Medeniyet University (2011–2016). He became an associate professor in 2007 and a professor in 2013. In 2013 he set up the microsurgery training and research laboratory at Medeniyet University, where he has trained more than 100 surgeons in microsurgery. He has been in private practice since 2016 and has more than 100 published articles. According to the clinic, operations take place in A+ group hospitals.
