About Izmir Gazi Hospital
Izmir Gazi Hospital (İzmir Özel Gazi Hastanesi) is a private general hospital in the Kahramanlar neighbourhood of Konak, central İzmir. It was established in 2002 and takes its name from Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who carried the title “Gazi”. The hospital expanded its capacity in 2008.
According to the hospital, it runs 24-hour emergency and outpatient services across 27 specialties, with a total capacity of 111 beds, intensive care units and operating theatres. Its medical units cover cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, general surgery, orthopaedics and traumatology, brain and nerve surgery, gynaecology and obstetrics, paediatrics and paediatric cardiology, urology, ENT, eye diseases, dermatology, gastroenterology, medical oncology, internal medicine, neurology, chest diseases, radiology, anaesthesia, medical biochemistry and microbiology.
