Anadolu Medical Center is a hospital in Gebze, Kocaeli, established in 2005 by the Anadolu Foundation. Its clinical services cover cancer care, cardiovascular medicine, womenโs health, fertility treatment, neurological conditions, surgery and internal medicine. The hospital occupies a 50,000-square-metre building within a larger campus and combines outpatient consultations, diagnostic investigations and hospital-based treatment.
Cancer care is organised around multidisciplinary assessment. The hospital describes eleven tumour boards where specialists review diagnoses and treatment options together. Its services have expanded through the opening of a bone marrow transplantation centre in 2010, a breast health centre in 2015, a uro-oncology centre in 2017 and a paediatric bone marrow transplantation centre in 2022. These programmes bring together different specialties for individual treatment planning.
The hospital lists robotic surgery, CyberKnife, MR-guided radiotherapy, 3-tesla magnetic resonance imaging and a hybrid operating room among its clinical technologies. The suitability of each investigation or procedure depends on the patientโs condition and clinical assessment. Thoracic surgery is another service, with Prof. Dr. Altan Kฤฑr among the physicians named on its website.
Anadolu Medical Center describes a strategic collaboration with Johns Hopkins Medicine focused on education and quality. Its website also reports international accreditations and recognitions covering hospital standards, oncology, patient-centred care and interventional oncology. International patients form part of its patient population. A separate Anadolu medical centre operates in Ataลehir; the Gebze hospital and the Ataลehir centre are distinct locations within the organisation.
Accreditations, Certifications and Licenses
The hospital reports JCI accreditation, OECI accreditation, ESMO recognition, Planetree Gold certification, IASIOS full accreditation for interventional oncology, and international health tourism authorisation.
