BHT Clinic Istanbul Tema Hospital

BHT Clinic Istanbul Tema Hospital opened in 2019 in Atakent, Küçükçekmece, as part of Bahat Sağlık Grubu. The hospital occupies a nineteen-storey building with 55,000 square metres of enclosed space and describes a university collaboration with Istanbul Nişantaşı University.

Its published capacity distinguishes 324 active beds from a total capacity of 450. The hospital reports 100 active physicians and twenty operating rooms, including one hybrid operating room. Adult intensive care and neonatal intensive care are provided within the same building as imaging, laboratories, outpatient departments and surgical services.

Clinical services include general surgery, cardiology, neurology, orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, robotic surgery and fertility treatment. Oncology and surgical cases are discussed in multidisciplinary meetings. Diagnostic and treatment resources include whole-body MRI, digital angiography, PET-CT and radiotherapy systems.

The international patient centre coordinates preliminary medical review, treatment planning, translation, transfers and accommodation. Patients can send records and images before travel, after which the relevant physician prepares a plan addressing treatment duration and cost. The hospital describes continued online checks after patients return home. Coordination is offered in Turkish, English, Russian, French, German and Arabic.

Accommodation includes standard rooms, suites, king suites and rooms adapted for disabled patients. Other published facilities include parking, a café, prayer spaces and charging facilities. The hospital reports JCI and TÜSKA accreditation, TEMOS certifications and LEED Gold building certification. Online appointment and results services complement the hospital’s in-person services and its round-the-clock emergency department.
