About Dr. Ebru Acar’s Eye Clinic
Op. Dr. Ebru Acar is an ophthalmologist (eye diseases specialist) who sees patients at her private practice in the Park Yaşam Mavişehir offices in Karşıyaka, İzmir. She studied medicine at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, completed her ophthalmology residency at İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital and received her specialist qualification in 2004. She then worked as an ophthalmologist at Kars State Hospital, and between 2007 and 2018 at Özel Karşıyaka Göz Hastanesi, Özel Egepol Hastanesi and Özel Ekol Göz Hastanesi in İzmir.
The practice offers routine and preventive eye examinations for newborns, children and adults; assessment of refractive errors (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism); glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy checks; contact lens fitting; dry eye tests and corneal thickness measurement (pachymetry).
