Dr. Mehmet Sürmeli, MD, FEBOPRAS, is a plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon who works solely at his own clinic, Dr. Sürmeli Plastic Surgery Clinic, in Istanbul. He holds European and Turkish board certification. He is also licensed in the United Arab Emirates, by the Dubai Health Authority (2024) and the Abu Dhabi Department of Health (2025), with surgical privileges as a specialist plastic surgeon.
He studied medicine in the English programme at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine (1999–2005) and completed his residency there (2005–2012).
