About Dr. Murat Gurel Clinic
Op. Dr. Murat Gürel is a plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon with a clinic in Beşiktaş, Istanbul. He studied medicine at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine (1994–2000) and began his residency in 2006 at Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital.
During his training he worked at Mustafa Kemal University Faculty of Medicine (2008–2009) on rhinoplasty, aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, cleft lip and palate and flap surgery. He then worked at Kırıkkale University Faculty of Medicine (2009–2012) on maxillofacial surgery cases and completed his specialist training. For his compulsory service he was the responsible physician of the plastic surgery department in Aksaray, where he performed many aesthetic and reconstructive operations. He published several national and international articles during his residency.
