About Estetia Clinic
Estetia Estetik ve Plastik Cerrahi is a private plastic and aesthetic surgery practice in central İzmir, founded in 2004 by Prof. Dr. Atay Atabey. Surgical procedures are carried out at a fully equipped hospital, İzmir Tınaztepe University Tınaztepe Galen Hastanesi, while consultations and cosmetic treatments take place at the practice.
Prof. Dr. Atabey graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1983 and completed his specialist training in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery in 1990 at Cumhuriyet University and Dokuz Eylül University. He did post-doctoral research at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the USA in 1994–1995 and 1998–2000, working on composite flap prefabrication, craniomaxillofacial surgery and tissue transfer. He taught at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine from 1990 to 2011, where he headed the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, and has been a part-time faculty member at İzmir Tınaztepe University since 2023. He has more than 50 scientific publications and served on the board of the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons from 2006 to 2008.
Procedures listed on the website include rhinoplasty, facelift, forehead and brow lift, eyelid surgery, chin augmentation and reduction, breast augmentation, reduction and lift, tummy tuck, thigh and arm lift, liposuction, implant-based contouring, scar revision, hair restoration and prominent ear correction. Non-surgical treatments include fillers, botulinum toxin, mesotherapy, thread lifts, laser skin treatments and medical skin care. The team also includes an aesthetician and a surgical nurse.
