About MosDent Dental Hospital
Mosdent Ağız ve Diş Sağlığı Merkezi is a private oral and dental health centre in Bahçelievler, Istanbul. Dr. Hakan Kaval and Dr. Ömer Faruk Şarkbay, PhD, founded it in 1992. It has grown from a single practice into a 1,700-square-metre centre with more than 20 treatment rooms, its own operating theatre, a CBCT 3D imaging centre and a CAD/CAM laboratory. The founders’ families still run the centre.
The centre has 16 doctors covering implantology and aesthetic dentistry, oral and maxillofacial surgery, periodontics, orthodontics including clear aligners, prosthodontics, endodontics and restorative dentistry, and paediatric dentistry. A dedicated anaesthesia team and a support staff of 23 work alongside them. Implant systems used include Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Astra Tech, Ankylos, Osstem, Neodent, Medentika, MegaGen and MyPlant.
Mosdent is licensed by the Turkish Ministry of Health for international health tourism. For patients from abroad, it offers a free video consultation, a written treatment plan and quote before travel, and help with hotels and airport transfers. Most guests stay five to ten days. A check-up schedule is agreed before patients fly home, and the team stays reachable by WhatsApp and video call.
