NPİSTANBUL Hastanesi (NP Istanbul Brain Hospital) is a private neuropsychiatry hospital in Istanbul and part of NP Sağlık Grubu. The group began with the Istanbul branch of Memory Centers of America, opened in May 1999, and the NPİSTANBUL Neuropsychiatry Hospital opened on 20 March 2007. The hospital is the scientific partner of Üsküdar University, and its board chairman is psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan.
The hospital focuses on mental and brain health: adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, neurology, child neurology, neurosurgery, sleep disorders, addiction treatment (NPAMATEM), neurorehabilitation, neuropsychology, speech and language disorders and psychotherapy. It also has departments for general surgery, ENT, internal medicine, cardiology, infectious diseases, physical therapy and rehabilitation, radiology and medical genetics. The hospital reports a 24/7 psychiatry outpatient and inpatient service, class A operating theatres and intensive care, 3 Tesla MRI, neuromodulation (brain stimulation) treatment and pharmacogenetic testing to guide medication choice.
NPİSTANBUL states that JCI first accredited it in 2012 and renewed the accreditation for the fifth time in 2024. It also holds ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 10002 certificates. For patients outside Istanbul or abroad, it offers online therapy and telepsychiatry.
