İstanbul Okan Üniversitesi Hastanesi is the university hospital of Istanbul Okan University, located in Tuzla on the Asian side of Istanbul. It opened in 2016. The university itself was founded in 1999 by the Okan Culture, Education and Sports Foundation, and also runs the Istanbul Okan University Faculty of Medicine Training and Research Hospital.
Surgical specialties listed for the hospital’s operating theatres include general surgery, eye surgery, ENT, urology, thoracic surgery, cardiovascular surgery, gynaecology and obstetrics, neonatal and paediatric surgery, paediatric heart surgery, orthopaedics and trauma, plastic and reconstructive surgery, neurosurgery and robotic surgery. Other departments include dental health, check-up, nutrition and diet, gastroenterology, neurology, psychiatry and psychology. Patient rooms come in three types.
