About Smile Hair Clinic
Smile Hair Clinic is a private hair transplant clinic in Istanbul. It was founded in 2018 by Dr. Mehmet Erdoğan and Dr. Gökay Bilgin, who had worked with FUE hair transplant techniques for several years before. The clinic’s website is published in 13 languages, including English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Russian, Danish, Japanese, Swedish and Polish.
Treatments include hair transplantation using sapphire FUE, DHI and manual FUE, unshaven hair transplant, female and Afro hair transplant, eyebrow, beard, moustache and sideburn transplant, body-hair transplant and hair mesotherapy. The clinic also offers needle-free anaesthesia. It describes a “Smile Gentle Care” approach, in which patients are assigned assistants from first contact through the whole process, and it publishes its sterilisation and hygiene standards and patient guides for before and after the operation.
In 2025 the clinic received an A-rated certificate from TEMOS International Healthcare Accreditation, a Germany-based accreditor. The assessment covered medical services, nursing, international patient management, infection control, human resources and facility safety. The medical team listed on the website consists of five hair transplant surgeons, including the two co-founders.
