About Saglik Hospital
Saglik Hospital (Özel Sağlık Hastanesi) is a private general hospital in İzmir. The hospital traces its history back to 1969 and is described in the Turkish press as one of the first private hospitals in İzmir; after a period of closure it was revived as part of a hospital group. Press reports give its capacity as 170 beds and 8 operating rooms.
The hospital lists a wide range of medical units: emergency service, dentistry, anaesthesiology and reanimation, nutrition and dietetics, neurosurgery, biochemistry and pathology laboratories, paediatrics and paediatric cardiology, dermatology, aesthetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery, physical therapy and rehabilitation, gastroenterology, general surgery, chest surgery and chest diseases, haematology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, gynaecology and obstetrics, cardiovascular surgery, cardiology, ENT, infectious diseases, neurology, orthopaedics and traumatology, psychiatry and a psychological counselling centre, radiology, urology, medical oncology, nephrology and a pain (algology) unit.

The hospital publishes a series of short video interviews with its specialists, covering topics such as coronary angiography, kidney disease, tonsil surgery, snoring and obesity surgery. Appointments can be booked online, by phone or via WhatsApp, and laboratory results are available through an online results service.
